Lydia’s Place

Lydia’s place is now allowing all school aged children. Tuesday – Thursday, 10am to 3pm 

Due to COVID-19 our free clothing store Lydia’s Place, hours are Tues- Thurs from 10am to 3pm. No children allowed at this time. One family at a time.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.  It is a time when Priest River Ministries makes an extra effort to break the silence created by violence in our homes.  Please seek help if this is you.  And if you have a friend or family member, reach out, be the way to end the silence.  

Sandpoint Office Moved!

Priest River Ministries-Advocates for Women is happy to announce, we have moved our Sandpoint office to 502 N. 2nd Street.  We have rented spaces on the 1st (bottom) floor which include “Tabitha’s Closet”, a free clothing and supply room.  We are accepting clothing for children ages 18 mo to size 14/16. We are presently open Mon-Wed 12-4:00 and can take donations during that time.  We are looking for volunteers, if you are interested please give us a call.  We are open for business and continuing to assist victims of violence and their families. Spirit Lake Lunch Program

Lunch program has ended for the season. After school snacks will continue through out the school year. We love building relationships with our community.We were able to feed aprx 28 kids a day all summer long. Thank you to the volunteers from Lake City Church for delivering sandwiches each week. And to all our volunteer advocates and Phoebe ladies for your consistent service to our community. 

The start of 2019

The first 6 months of 2019…70 Women and Children found refuge in our shelters; Our Paralegals saw aprx 68 clients (both men and women), Our Counselors worked with aprx 20 women, 360 children played in our Childcare room and an average of 2550 people entered through our doors for assistance, clothes, food and supplies. God Bless our selfless and cheerful volunteers who work behind the scenes only to serve. The need is great, and the workers are few…Ready to volunteer?

Open at our new location, 6105 Hwy 2, today. We are still a work in progress but we are officially in our very own space. Open House Saturday 10-2 with live music and hot dogs. Grand opening scheduled for June.
